Work Environment

This role will primarily take place in patients' homes throughout East Brunswick and the surrounding areas, providing a unique and rewarding experience as you witness the direct impact of your care. Our supportive onsite team facilitates collaboration among professionals, allowing for a cohesive approach to patient management. You will also enjoy a structured schedule, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all duties consistent with the company's values and principles, ensuring high standards of ethical practice and professionalism.
• Adhere to the New Jersey State Practice Act and maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients to develop effective, individualized treatment goals and programs tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement comprehensive, goal-directed patient treatment plans designed to maximize patient outcomes, employing evidence-based practice techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare practitioners and community resources to coordinate treatment needs and enhance the holistic care of patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Support the administrative functions of our practice by performing additional duties as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients. Your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation will be crucial as you assess each patient's unique needs and guide them on their path to recovery. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years' experience providing physical therapy services, preferably in a home care setting.
• Strong familiarity with orthopedic physical rehabilitation principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with patients across all demographics.
• A comprehensive understanding of age-specific considerations when developing treatment plans for a diverse patient population.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in a home care environment, showcasing their ability to manage the complexities that arise when treating patients outside a traditional clinical setting.
