Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Parlin, New Jersey, where you will collaborate closely with a supportive team of healthcare professionals. Your schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve a varied range of responsibilities, which include:

• Performing all duties in alignment with Rethink Counseling Center's core values and principles.
• Adhering to the New Jersey State Practice Act and other applicable regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
• Maintaining ethical practices in line with the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) professional Code of Ethics.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of assigned patients to establish individualized treatment goals and programs based on their unique needs.
• Delivering comprehensive, goal-directed care to maximize patient outcomes and enhance their quality of life.
• Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners and community resources to coordinate treatment plans effectively.
• Engaging in continuous learning and other duties as assigned, which may include participating in team meetings and contributing to patient care discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric individuals. This role will require you to demonstrate an understanding of age-specific data and considerations in developing and executing treatment plans. Your expertise in orthopedic physical rehabilitation will be particularly valuable as you work to meet the unique challenges presented by each patient.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey.
• A proven track record of at least 2 years of experience providing physical therapy services.
• Strong knowledge and familiarity with orthopedic physical rehabilitation techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients across all age groups and comprehend their specific care requirements.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as sports rehabilitation or geriatric care will be considered favorably. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
