Work Environment

This role will require you to work onsite in the homes of our patients, providing you with the unique opportunity to create a personalized therapeutic environment conducive to healing. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in the comfort of their own homes.
• Establish individualized treatment plans that incorporate exercise, stretching, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment to address each patient's specific needs.
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments tailored to aid in pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting therapeutic goals and treatment plans as necessary based on their responses.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on the proper use of assistive devices and self-care techniques to facilitate continued recovery.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy by participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients in home care settings, allowing you to engage closely with individuals from diverse backgrounds and various age groups. Your focus will range from pediatric cases to geriatric care, catering to a wide array of diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, neurological conditions, orthopedic injuries, and chronic pain management.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing, for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Ability to adapt and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic home care environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in home care or outpatient settings.
• Experience with diverse patient populations and a varied range of physical therapy modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by an extensive benefits package.
