Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and understand their symptoms in detail.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions using specialized techniques and create structured, evidence-based treatment plans that address individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on the proper use of therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand how to manage their conditions effectively.
• Utilize hands-on methods, such as massage and manual therapy, to promote healing and mobility.
• Assist patients with mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they learn to use these tools safely and effectively.
• Keep meticulous records of patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to meet their evolving needs and goals.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families on at-home treatment options and exercises to enhance recovery outside of therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic spans a wide range of ages and conditions, from pediatric to geriatric populations. You will be working with clients dealing with various physical challenges, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient documentation.
• Ability to be agile and flexible, adapting to various patient environments and needs.

Preferred Experience
