Breakthrough Rehabilitation & Treatment Center in Keansburg, New Jersey, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This role is fully onsite, enabling physical therapists to work directly with patients in their homes. By providing therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment, our therapists can assess each individual's unique needs and customize treatments accordingly. Our work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, treating, and guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey. Your daily tasks will include the following:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to understand patients' functional limitations, medical history, and personal goals.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's unique needs and response to therapy.
• Utilizing evidence-based protocols in treatment, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of patient care activities, including detailed evaluations, treatment notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any changes in patients' conditions.
• Participating in educational meetings and training sessions as required, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our clinical services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals recovering from surgery, experiencing chronic pain, or facing mobility challenges. As a physical therapist, you will be instrumental in restoring their independence and enhancing their quality of life. We cater to diverse needs, making adaptability and person-centered care essential in this role.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current State Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• A valid CPR Certificate to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

While the required experience focuses on outpatient orthopedics, familiarity with home care practices and knowledge of the latest therapeutic technologies and methodologies will be considered a strong asset in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
