Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role will operate directly in patients' homes, ensuring individualized attention and care in a comfortable environment. This onsite position typically follows a schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balance between work and personal life while contributing to the overall well-being of our community through home-based therapy services. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function in line with individual patient care plans.
• Supervise and instruct Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure proper execution of treatment protocols and the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' functional abilities using diagnostic and prognostic assessments, including muscle, nerve, joint evaluations, and functional ability tests.
• Assess and suggest modifications to the home environment that could enhance clients' independence and promote effective rehabilitation.
• Provide therapy services based on physician directives, encompassing manual therapeutic exercises as well as guidance on non-manual therapeutic activities.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as traction and massage, along with physical agents, to augment treatment effectiveness.
• Evaluate, fit, adjust, and recommend prosthetic and orthotic devices in conjunction with prescribing physicians.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary teams by actively engaging in case conferences, sharing insights, and collaborating on comprehensive care plans.
• Consistently document patient progress and make informed recommendations for adjustments to care plans based on client response and condition changes.
• Educate clients and their families in the use of therapeutic devices and the overall physical therapy regimen, fostering their involvement in the healing process.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and documentation for insurance and performance monitoring.
• Remain accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment to provide guidance and ensure adherence to the established care plan.
• Additional responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as timely submission of clinical documentation and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapist role, preferably within an acute care or home care setting.
• Valid and current Physical Therapy licensure in New Jersey, with a commitment to maintaining good standing.
• Current CPR certification reflecting knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Strong leadership skills, decisive judgment, and accountability in clinical decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
