Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in a home care environment, assessing their needs and physical capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and assistive technology to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilize modern therapy modalities and equipment to enhance rehabilitation efforts and promote pain relief.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes diligently, adapting therapeutic goals as needed throughout the recovery process.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on effective self-care strategies, physical therapy techniques, and the use of assistive devices for daily living activities.
• Participate in professional development by attending workshops, contributing to research initiatives, and engaging in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid New Jersey state license in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
