Work Environment

This role is based in Matawan, NJ, and focuses on providing care directly in the homes of our patients. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Broward Physical Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the activities of physical therapy assistants to ensure high-quality care is consistently administered.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities using advanced diagnostic techniques to inform treatment strategies.
• Assessing the home environment to identify barriers to rehabilitation and recommending modifications that foster greater independence for patients.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapies, modalities for pain relief, and functional exercises.
• Providing guidance and education to patients and their families regarding home therapy programs, assistive devices, and safety measures.
• Documenting clinical progress and evaluating treatment effectiveness through a meticulous record-keeping system, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide holistic care, participate in patient conferences, and contribute to case management discussions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current DPT license in the state of New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits
