Key Responsibilities

• Administer a variety of treatment modalities including therapeutic exercises, stretching strategies, and manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Regularly track and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure ongoing improvement toward therapeutic objectives.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, assistive devices, and best practices for self-care and mobility enhancement.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and share insights about treatment efficacy and patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves caring for a wide range of patients, from children requiring rehabilitation after injuries to elderly adults recovering from surgery or managing chronic illnesses. Our therapists are trained to evaluate and adapt their treatments to suit the varying needs of each patient within the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Qualifications

• Earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation and communication, including electronic health records and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in physical therapy.
