Work Environment

This position is primarily an onsite role at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Saint Petersburg, where you will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The center is designed to provide various rehabilitation therapies in a comfortable and supportive setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments to monitor patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including but not limited to exercise prescription, manual therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and improve function.
• Utilize specific tools and equipment to facilitate effective treatment, which may include resistance bands, weights, and electrical stimulation units.
• Document therapy sessions, patient responses, and treatment progress accurately to track patient improvement and modify plans as required.
• Engage in regular re-evaluations of patient goals, adjusting therapeutic methods to meet evolving needs and optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on appropriate use of assistive devices to enhance independence in daily living activities.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain professional development through workshops, webinars, and professional affiliations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric demographics, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Our clientele includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative conditions, chronic pain syndromes, neurological disorders, and more. Your expertise will not only help them regain mobility but also empower them to overcome psychological and emotional barriers associated with recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State License to practice Physical Therapy is required.
• Current CPR certification to ensure safety and readiness in emergencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant physical therapy experience is preferred, though new graduates with clinical experience will be considered.
• Specialization in specific patient populations or therapeutic modalities is a plus.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
