Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center in Saint Petersburg, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art facility tailored for recovery and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring care aligns with each patient's unique needs.
• Administer therapy sessions that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and restore function.
• Document patient progress meticulously in compliance with legal and ethical standards, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on exercises, strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent further injuries.
• Promote a positive atmosphere through excellent customer service, fostering strong relationships with patients to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
• Meet established metrics for patient utilization and participation in ongoing training to optimize treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of patients facing various challenges, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, preferably from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current and valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interactions and comprehensive documentation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
