Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, utilizing standardized assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and recovery goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring that each patient receives focused and personalized attention during therapy sessions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, emphasizing orthopedic outpatient care and including a range of manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Encourage patient engagement and adherence to treatment protocols, providing motivation and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Develop and refine fitness and wellness programs that cater to specific patient requirements, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Continuously assess treatment efficacy and adapt plans based on patient progress, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and patient communications using EMR systems such as WebPT.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Our facility serves a diverse clientele, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, seniors looking to improve mobility and function, and individuals overcoming various musculoskeletal conditions. As a Physical Therapist at Empire Physical Therapy, you will engage with patients at different stages of recovery, tailoring your approach to each individual's circumstances and needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Current, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and an ability to guide patients effectively through tailored exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for precise documentation of patient interactions and treatment provided.
• Up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy methodologies supported by current research, with a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting, particularly in outpatient care, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Empire Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
