OnTrack Physical Therapy & Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in beautiful Saint Petersburg, Florida. This full-time position focuses on delivering high-quality care in an onsite rehabilitation center, especially tailored for outpatient orthopedic patients. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center in Saint Petersburg creates a supportive atmosphere where therapists can thrive. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that benefits both our employees and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional limitations, enabling you to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.

• Stay updated on and adhere to relevant state practice acts, ensuring compliance with laws governing physical therapy practice.

• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including initial evaluations, treatment protocols based on assessment findings, and progress notes during the treatment cycle.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to make informed decisions about patient care, adjusting treatment plans in response to changes in patient conditions.

• Drive discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring patients have access to necessary services post-therapy.

• Complete any requisite corporate and clinical training to remain compliant with healthcare regulations.

• Engage actively in team discussions aimed at removing barriers to patient access and participate in quality improvement initiatives like Access NRH.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients who require rehabilitation due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. You will address a diverse range of conditions, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to both acute and long-term recovery needs. Our aim is to restore patients to their optimum functional levels in a compassionate and supportive manner.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) is mandatory, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, demonstrating your capability in this specific area.

• Current certification in CPR is essential for maintaining patient safety and compliance.

Preferred Experience

While we require at least two years of experience, candidates with further specialized training or certification in orthopedic therapy are encouraged to apply.
