Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to establish patients' therapy needs and create personalized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing an efficient patient load of one patient per hour to ensure high-quality care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and a diverse array of therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
• Administer treatments that focus on reducing pain, improving mobility, and enhancing physical function, all while striving to minimize reliance on medications and surgical options.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously and maintain clear communication with patients regarding their progress and care plan adjustments.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to review patient progress and optimize treatment strategies.
• Motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, encouraging adherence to exercise regimens that boost strength and flexibility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary clients will be individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries and conditions. This includes a diverse range of adult patients who are often referred for conditions such as post-surgical care, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. By focusing on personalized care strategies, you will play a crucial role in restoring patients' physical functioning and enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is mandatory, alongside a clean disciplinary record.
• Demonstrated competency in various manual therapy techniques is essential for this role.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly experience with WebPT, is preferred.
• A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development is vital.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred. Familiarity with collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient feedback are highly valued. Compensation and Benefits
