Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate orthopedic conditions through comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, employing clinical assessments to inform individualized treatment strategies.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific orthopedic needs of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Consistently reassess patient progress by monitoring clinical signs, symptoms, and functional improvements, creating adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, including SOAP notes, progress updates, and individual care plans, using our electronic health record (EHR) system promptly and accurately.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding their treatment process, setting realistic expectations, and empowering them to engage in their recovery efforts.
• Meet productivity targets and collaborate with various healthcare professionals within Perpetual Motion to offer integrated services for patients receiving multiple therapies.
• Serve as a champion of our clinic's values and culture, acting as a positive ambassador for Perpetual Motion in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Perpetual Motion, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our diverse clientele includes individuals of all ages, ensuring a rich variety of case types that require creative and adaptable therapy interventions. You will engage with the local community to promote health and wellness, serving as an integral part of their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida, issued by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Proficient in conducting both in-person and telehealth evaluations and treatments, ensuring accessibility for all patients when clinically appropriate.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to serving a diverse patient population, regardless of age, race, or background.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
