Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical condition and establish appropriate treatment plans.
• Implement tailored therapeutic interventions that may include strength training, range of motion exercises, and mobility training, ensuring alignment with physician directives and best practices.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care and facilitate team communication.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong, trusting relationships with patients and their families throughout their recovery journey.
• Guide and educate patients, as well as their caregivers, on effective home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies friendly to various lifestyles.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews to optimize patient outcomes and share insights from your clinical experience.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals while promoting the clinic's mission and values.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on a diverse range of orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries sustained during sports or daily activities, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will extend to pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties, allowing you to make a significant impact across multiple demographics.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited Doctorate program in Physical Therapy.
• Possession of a current, valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for patient interaction and collaboration.
• Competent in using word processing and basic computer applications.
• Proficiency in relationship-building techniques to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy or a related setting, preferably with a focus on manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
