Work Environment

Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, providing a structured environment conducive to professionalism and personal growth. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient-specific goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage an individualized caseload, typically scheduling one patient per hour for focused treatment.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that maximize improvements in patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises specifically tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Empower patients by providing educational resources and motivational support throughout their treatment.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive communication regarding patient care strategies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in our EMR system like WebPT.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise regimens that cater to the needs of each patient.
• Strong skills in employing EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following attributes will be given preference:

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A track record of successful patient outcomes, particularly in reducing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation practices.
