Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients referred by physicians, identifying their unique treatment needs and setting achievable goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass a range of therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities aimed at alleviating pain and improving function.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary and documenting outcomes accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance care strategies and ensure a cohesive approach to the patient's recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about their conditions, prevention strategies, and self-management techniques to foster independence and long-lasting recovery.
• Exemplify exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience and contribute positively to the overall effectiveness of our therapeutic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve treating a diverse clientele, including pediatric, orthopedic, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. You will be pivotal in managing conditions from post-surgical recovery to injury rehabilitation, ensuring that each patient receives customized attention and support throughout their healing process. Your expertise will be vital in guiding patients through all stages of their rehabilitation, addressing both physical limitations and psychosocial factors that influence recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Valid state license for physical therapy practice in Florida.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in computer applications and electronic health record systems.
• Commitment to developing strong therapeutic relationships with patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and previous experience in an outpatient setting are advantageous, we are especially interested in candidates who possess a genuine enthusiasm for patient care, a collaborative spirit, and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Compensation and Benefits
