Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities, formulating individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state practice acts and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations governing physical therapy practice.

• Provide evaluation services that include compiling pertinent patient history, conducting assessments, and ensuring accurate documentation of results and progress.

• Implement effective treatment protocols aligned with the latest evidence-based practices while adapting interventions based on patient presentations and feedback.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals as necessary, recognizing changes in patients' conditions that warrant modifications to treatment plans.

• Facilitate thorough discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that documentation reflects the entire patient journey through clear notes and progress summaries.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
