Work Environment

Situated in the heart of Saint Petersburg, our onsite rehabilitation facility is designed for optimal patient outcomes. The clinic features modern treatment areas and the latest rehabilitation tools. You will work alongside a supportive team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to enhancing patient care and rehabilitation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify patients' goals, needs, and physical capabilities.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, providing one-on-one sessions with a focus on individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based intervention techniques to facilitate recovery and maximize mobility.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, showcasing proficiency in modern physiotherapy practices.
• Design and develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that motivate and challenge patients.
• Document all aspects of care, maintaining clear and detailed records of patient evaluations and treatment progress.
• Educate patients about preventive strategies and lifestyle choices that enhance physical health and well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights to provide comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. As a physical therapist, you will engage with a diverse client base, ensuring that every patient receives customized, compassionate care that empowers them on their road to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a firm understanding of exercise physiology.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A proven track record in developing innovative rehabilitation programs that yield effective patient outcomes.
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
