Work Environment

Located in the sunny city of Saint Petersburg, our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility is designed to provide a supportive environment for both patients and staff. As a full-time physical therapist with scheduled hours of 40 hours per week and variable weekend shifts, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team committed to achieving exceptional outcomes. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be responsible for a range of critical tasks aimed at enhancing patient recovery, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic functional limitations and disabilities.
• Providing clinical consultations to healthcare providers regarding the patient's continuum of care, ensuring a seamless transition through every stage of rehabilitation.
• Maintaining open communication with all patients, upholding our customer service standards while respecting diverse backgrounds.
• Monitoring treatment progress and outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment and discharge plans based on evaluation findings and patient feedback.
• Documenting patient care accurately, adhering to all regulatory and compliance standards while ensuring timely submission of charges for services rendered.
• Collaborating closely with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Participating in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness and engagement with rehabilitation services.
• Providing mentorship and supervision to support staff, including physical therapy assistants and students.
• Actively participating in quality improvement projects and program development initiatives within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will provide care that caters to a diverse demographic, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Qualifications

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy and BLS certification are required.

Compensation and Benefits
