This position is located in our outpatient office in Saint Petersburg, Florida—a city known for its beautiful weather and strong community spirit. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients' functional mobility, alleviate pain, and ensure maximum performance based on individual capabilities.

Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering specific components of therapy, ensuring fidelity to the treatment plan and adjusting approaches as necessary.

Document patient progress comprehensively through clinical records, including evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and enhance overall treatment effectiveness.

Regularly communicate with physicians and case managers regarding patient status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Provide guidance to clients and families on the use and care of physical therapy devices, ensuring they understand their therapy goals and exercises.

Maintain a positive rapport with patients, fostering a motivational atmosphere conducive to effective rehabilitation.

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Treatment plans will be tailored to meet the specific needs of individuals seeking to regain mobility, strength, and function, ensuring every patient receives personalized attention and care. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

A valid physical therapy license in good standing in the state of Florida.

Demonstrable skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and the administration of therapeutic techniques.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
