Our team consists of 2 physical therapists and 1 physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to providing excellent rehabilitation services in our state-of-the-art facility, spanning over 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine. Our practice maintains a strong reputation for focusing on patients with private medical insurance, ensuring that they receive the best care tailored to their needs.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite at our rehabilitation facility in the picturesque Saint Petersburg, Florida. Our modern and spacious clinic is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies, facilitating effective therapy sessions. You will be part of a close-knit team that encourages ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring that staff are motivated and supported in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's functional objectives and clinical needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering personalized therapy and maintaining strong patient engagement.
• Develop and implement evidence-based individualized treatment protocols, focusing on improving range of motion, strength, and mobility.
• Reduce reliance on surgical interventions and medications by exploring and offering non-invasive treatment options.
• Create strategic care plans integrating diverse therapeutic techniques, which may include manual therapy, exercises, and patient education.
• Design specialized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the individual goals of each patient.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols based on outcomes, ensuring effective rehabilitation strategies.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments consistently in our WebPT EMR system, maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date patient record.
• Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals effectively to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Encourage an active lifestyle among patients, enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients who are seeking rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or other physical impairments. Your expertise will guide individuals from diverse backgrounds as they strive to regain mobility and return to their daily activities with confidence. You will engage with a variety of cases, promoting optimal outcomes that prioritize patient well-being and functionality.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida physical therapist license, free from any board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated ability in creating effective exercise protocols.
• Proficient in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for managing patient documentation and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education.
