Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including assessing physical conditions, disabilities, and pain levels to establish an accurate diagnosis.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapies and modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress rigorously, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to enhance recovery timelines.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment methods, home exercise regimens, and self-management techniques that promote long-term recovery.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound, to relieve pain and restore function.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will include a diverse range of individuals, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients overcoming mobility challenges. You will work with those seeking rehabilitation after surgeries, managing chronic pain, and enhancing overall functional mobility. Qualifications

• A valid and active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist is essential for this position.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; however, a Master's or Doctorate degree will be considered favorably.
