You will have the flexibility to choose your working hours and will typically work Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgery, or chronic pain conditions.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that incorporate exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and innovative approaches to pain management.
• Using evidence-based assessments and progress tracking to reassess and adjust treatment strategies to meet individual patient goals.
• Collaborating with patients to optimize self-care techniques and mobility through the use of assistive devices when necessary.
• Educating patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-management strategies, and expectations for recovery to foster an understanding of their rehabilitation process.
• Maintaining precise and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Participating in ongoing professional development through workshop attendance, peer reviews, and engaging in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role will focus primarily on treating patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our diverse clientele ranges from pediatric to geriatric patients, reflecting a broad spectrum of physical therapy needs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• Strong computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting to diverse patient needs and treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience
