Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist working onsite, you will be immersed in a supportive, collaborative environment that values patient-centered care. Aside from standard clinic hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, there may be occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to create individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing mobility and functional independence.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises tailored to their specific goals, ensuring proper techniques that promote safety and efficacy.
• Utilize various modalities including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, to support patient treatment protocols under your supervision.
• Educate patients on optimal body mechanics, exercise routines, and home therapy solutions, empowering them to take charge of their recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, producing reports detailing improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functionality.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver comprehensive care.
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain an organized workflow by ensuring therapeutic equipment is readily available for sessions.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, enhancing their rehabilitation experience through positive engagement.
• Uphold ethical practices and maintain confidentiality in all patient interactions, respecting individual rights throughout their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of patients, including those seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, or post-surgical recovery. Our clinic serves varying demographics, from active athletes requiring sports rehabilitation to older adults needing geriatric rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation, treatment scheduling, and patient follow-ups efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of relevant physical therapy experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
