Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is primarily based onsite, visiting patients in their homes across the Saint Petersburg area. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee patient therapy sessions to facilitate recovery, prevent disability, relieve pain, and enhance muscle function according to individualized care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' physical capabilities utilizing diagnostic tests, while identifying the need for rehabilitation.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure they adhere to the established care plan, fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Evaluate home environments to recommend adaptations that enhance clients' independence and safety.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and various treatment modalities, including manual therapy and the use of physical agents such as traction and massage.
• Prepare and maintain detailed clinical records, including OASIS evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring timely submission as per branch policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to formulate strategies for comprehensive patient care and collaborate on case management.
• Educate clients and their families about their therapy programs, encouraging active participation in their own recovery.
• Maintain a high level of communication with physicians and case managers, recommending adjustments to therapy plans as necessary based on clients' progress.
• Stay accessible to Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment sessions, and complete additional duties as assigned to meet the company's objectives.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience.
