Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disabilities, alleviating pain, and restoring function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' levels of physical function, utilizing standardized tests and assessments to inform treatment strategies.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants as they implement care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and home care strategies.
• Administer a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercises, traction, and modalities involving physical agents.
• Evaluate and recommend prosthetic and orthotic devices to enhance client mobility and independence, working closely with physicians as necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans where necessary.
• Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions, advocating for modifications to therapies or additional resources as needed.
• Ensure that all documentation, including clinical notes and administrative tasks, are completed in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients aiming to regain mobility following injuries or illnesses. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, in good standing.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a physical therapy setting, ideally in rehabilitation or outpatient care.
• Current CPR certification.
• Confidence in using therapeutic technologies and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.
• Background working with geriatric populations or patients with neurological conditions.
• Prior involvement in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Familiarity with OASIS documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and commitment to quality care.
