Work Environment

Situated in the picturesque city of Saint Petersburg, our state-of-the-art outpatient facility promotes an engaging and supportive environment. Our standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required as per patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility, strength, and functionality based on patient evaluations.
• Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises and stretches aimed at alleviating pain and promoting physical well-being.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs tailored to facilitate their ongoing recovery.
• Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to assist patients in their rehabilitation.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, evaluating metrics such as range of motion, strength improvements, and overall functional advancements.
• Prepare treatment areas effectively, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are organized and readily accessible during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care is delivered.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, creating a motivating atmosphere that fosters patient confidence and engagement.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality throughout all interactions and treatment processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a wide spectrum of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. You will engage with diverse groups such as athletes, elder patients, children, and individuals seeking rehabilitation after orthopedic interventions. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience
