Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, focused on providing therapy in patients' homes, allowing for personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs and environments. A typical workweek covers Monday through Friday, maintaining a standard 40-hour schedule that allows for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients referred by physicians to assess their condition and needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on evidence from the latest research and patient feedback.
• Deliver a variety of therapeutic services directly in the home environment, ensuring comfort and convenience for patients.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques to address conditions across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal recovery goals.
• Support your colleagues by actively participating in a multidisciplinary team approach, sharing insights and strategies to improve care standards.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals while aligning with the overall organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients needing assistance with mobility and strength. Your expertise in various therapeutic specialties will empower patients to overcome challenges related to their specific conditions, paving the way for a successful return to their daily lives.

Qualifications

• Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proficiency in computer applications related to healthcare documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
