You will be working within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic modalities to support effective rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist at Kaiser, your responsibilities will include:

Directing and coordinating physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disabilities, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function, aligned with each patient's care plan.

Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans while mentoring them through various phases of physical therapy services.

Administering a wide range of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other physical modalities such as traction and massage to facilitate recovery.

Assessing the home environment and recommending modifications to improve patients' independence during their rehabilitation journey.

Documenting patient evaluations, progress, and care plans comprehensively, ensuring accurate reflection in their clinical records.

Engaging with patients and their families to provide education on therapy techniques and devices, fostering a collaborative approach to care.

Ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing physical therapy practice.

You will provide care primarily to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those managing chronic pain, and patients seeking rehabilitation following illness or injury. Our holistic approach ensures that patients receive personalized care tailored to their unique recovery goals, promoting engagement and collaboration throughout the rehabilitation process.

A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

A valid and current State Physical Therapy License in good standing.

Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with applicable auto insurance.

A strong commitment to clinical excellence, quality care, and a patient-centered approach.

While the minimum requirement is two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, candidates with experience in both acute and home care settings will be prioritized. A background demonstrating strong leadership qualities, creativity in problem-solving, and the ability to adapt in dynamic environments will also be advantageous.
