Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions using a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and patient-specific goals, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and communicating changes effectively with patients and their families.
• Instruct patients and their caregivers on proper use of assistive devices, self-care strategies, and home exercise programs to promote independence.
• Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in continued education workshops and professional networks.
• Provide superior patient care while adhering to legal, ethical, and professional standards set by the physical therapy board and medical facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Palm Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population including children, adults, and the elderly with a wide array of diagnoses such as post-operative recovery, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
