Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Directing physical therapy services to prevent disabilities, relieve pain, and restore lost mobility.
• Leading evaluations to assess your clients' physical conditions through diagnostic tests, including muscle and joint function analysis.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the appropriate execution of the established care plans.
• Providing hands-on therapy, including manual therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, as determined by the care plan.
• Evaluating home environments and providing recommendations to facilitate clients' independence.
• Maintaining comprehensive clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Collaborating with patients and families to educate them on therapy techniques and home care strategies that promote recovery.
• Contributing to ongoing process improvements within the therapy department to enhance operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of patients who are undergoing rehabilitation for various conditions, including post-surgical recovery, stroke recovery, arthritis, and other orthopedic and neuromuscular disorders. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance for travel to patient locations if necessary.
• A strong commitment to clinical excellence, quality care, and patient satisfaction.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
