Work Environment

As an onsite Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will operate in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility designed to facilitate healing and recovery. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that fosters strong patient relationships. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and patient-friendly amenities, creating an inviting atmosphere conducive to effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand and address the objectives and specific requirements of each patient.
• Manage an individualized patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused, high-quality care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to enhance patient mobility and overall function.
• Administer effective therapies focusing on improving range of motion and reducing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's unique needs and personal goals.
• Monitor patient progress consistently and adjust treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes.
• Document all services rendered accurately to maintain clear communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Encourage and inspire patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering a motivational environment.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by guiding clients in improving their strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population you will be working with primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in empowering these patients to regain function and mobility, ultimately enhancing their quality of life. Your dedicated approach will support their rehabilitation efforts within a nurturing, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, is essential for maintaining accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and a strong understanding of evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team collaborations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 - 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Our offerings include:
