Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to establish baseline functional movement and identify areas of concern.
• Designing and executing personalized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations to address orthopedic conditions.
• Regularly reassessing patient progress toward therapy goals and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices and clinical pathways to guide treatment protocols and improve patient outcomes.
• Documenting all patient interactions including SOAP notes, progress updates, and care plans accurately and in a timely manner using our electronic health record system.
• Educating patients and their families about injury prevention, functional exercises, and strategies to manage their conditions effectively.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate care for patients requiring multiple therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be serving a diverse patient population including children and adults, with a focus on those dealing with orthopedic issues such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help patients navigate their recovery journeys, providing them with the necessary tools to regain independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• A valid Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred.
• Current licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida, issued by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy.
• A strong commitment to patient care with the ability to effectively perform evaluations and treatment plans in both onsite and telehealth settings as clinically appropriate.
• Excellent communication skills suited for interacting with patients from a wide range of backgrounds, ensuring that family members are also involved in the recovery process.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic therapy or a specialization in related conditions is preferred. Compensation and Benefits
