Work Environment

The role is entirely onsite at our busy rehabilitation center in the heart of Bradenton, Florida. Here, you will collaborate daily with like-minded professionals, including physical therapists and physical therapy assistants, in a welcoming environment that fosters growth and teamwork. Your typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while you provide essential services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively assess, plan, and implement patient care strategies tailored to individual needs, addressing pain, mobility, and overall health.
• Manage a focused caseload with one-on-one patient sessions, dedicating an hour to each patient to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Use evidence-based interventions to devise and modify treatment protocols, enhancing patient outcomes through a range of modalities, including manual therapy and exercise regimens.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs that encourage patients to actively engage in their recovery.
• Encourage communication with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive patient management and continuity of care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately using WebPT electronic medical record software.
• Maintain patient engagement and motivation throughout the healing process, reinforcing positive health behaviors and lifestyle choices.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting interventions as required to meet treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. You will work with a varied demographic, ranging from athletes to individuals needing post-operative care, ensuring that each patient's unique needs are effectively met through customized rehabilitation plans. Your role will be key in educating patients about non-surgical interventions, fostering longevity in health and improved life quality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• A pristine professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
• Exceptional competency in designing, implementing, and modifying exercise protocols specific to patient needs.
• Proficient use of electronic medical records, specifically WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated success in improving patient outcomes through innovative treatment strategies.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
