Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement hands-on therapy sessions that may include a variety of therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques to manage pain and enhance functional outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, at-home exercises, and self-care techniques to support recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes within our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate proactively with other healthcare professionals, including referring physicians, to coordinate the patient care process and ensure the most effective rehabilitation strategies are utilized.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals undergoing rehabilitation from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This includes patients seeking recovery from conditions such as fractures, joint replacements, tendon injuries, and more. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their healing processes, empowering them to regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current and active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A strong foundation in musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics, and physical therapy modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a clinical setting is required. Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems would be an asset.
• Experience with evidence-based practice methodologies to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
