Atlantic Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Outpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Sarasota, Florida location. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is designed to create a welcoming and empowering space for both our patients and staff. You will be working onsite, engaging directly with patients in a comfortable outpatient setting that is equipped with advanced therapy tools and technologies. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while providing time to focus on quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition to establish individualized treatment plans that meet their specific goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using a variety of evidence-based techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Manage a balanced caseload, ensuring that you provide adequate time and attention to each patient for optimal therapeutic engagement.
• Continuously assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Educate patients on their conditions and engage them in their own recovery through tailored exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic places a strong emphasis on functional mobility, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the recovery of patients of all ages, from young athletes to seniors looking to regain independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.
• No history of sanctions or adverse board proceedings associated with your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• A strong capacity for developing and implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR software like WebPT will be advantageous for seamless documentation and patient tracking.
• Continued education in current physical therapy methodologies that are backed by research.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
