Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition and clinical history to identify their specific therapies.
• Create and implement personalized therapy plans that align with each patient's goals and improve their movement and strength.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, ensuring a focus on innovative and cost-effective solutions that promote mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Deliver hands-on therapy, including manual therapy techniques, to enhance patients' recovery journeys.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation process, helping them set and achieve functional and fitness goals.
• Maintain clear communication with other health care professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Document all treatment plans and progress accurately using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary to ensure effectiveness and safety.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The target patient population at Active Life PT includes individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries, athletes seeking rehabilitation, and those with chronic pain or mobility challenges. Your role will be integral in restoring their function and enhancing their quality of life through tailored physical therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Possession of a valid and active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• A strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care, demonstrated through relevant clinical experience.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques and treatment strategies.
• Proficiency in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for effective record-keeping and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Expertise in diverse manual therapy techniques and a proven track record in designing successful exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Experience working in an outpatient setting with a strong focus on sports medicine and non-surgical rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
