Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each patient's unique needs, determining the most effective orthopedic treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, patient goals, and physician referrals, ensuring alignment with best practices in physical therapy.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modality treatments, and patient education, to facilitate recovery and enhance mobility.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing guidance on in-home exercises and what to expect during the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate closely with other medical professionals to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive treatment options for patients.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, adhering to clinic policies and professional standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in the rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions, including but not limited to joint replacements, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. We focus on providing care to a diverse demographic, encompassing various age groups and activity levels, ensuring personalized and tailored approaches for each individual. The therapist will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their functional abilities and improve their quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; advanced degrees such as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy are encouraged.
• Valid state Physical Therapy License in Florida.
• At least 3 years of experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, with a focus on orthopedic cases.
• Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR are mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy principles, as well as proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary practice is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with treatment protocols for specialized populations or emerging therapies.
• Proven track record in rehabilitation settings that required development and implementation of tailored goal-oriented treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
