Work Environment

This position is onsite at our home care facility, where you will collaborate closely with a team of two other experienced physical therapists. The setting is designed to promote a high standard of patient care, utilizing advanced treatment methodologies and state-of-the-art equipment in a spacious environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and establish measurable goals.
• Administer personalized treatment sessions lasting 40 minutes each, focusing on modalities that enhance motion, mobility, and overall function.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to alleviate pain and improve the patients' physical capabilities, thereby reducing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, offering support and encouragement while monitoring their progress and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Utilize the Athena Health EMR system for accurate documentation and communication of patient care services, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other health professionals to optimize treatment approaches and enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including athletes and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. Our patient demography includes those utilizing commercial insurance and private pay options, requiring you to adapt treatment methodologies to best fit each individual's situation.

Qualifications

• A valid Florida State License to practice Physical Therapy is essential.
• A graduate degree in Physical Therapy (MS or DPT) is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• In-depth clinical expertise with current knowledge of best practices and treatment techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills capable of effectively managing a diverse patient population.
• A commitment to personal development and a proactive approach to continuing education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a sports medicine setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with holistic approaches to rehab and patient care is a plus.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes:
