Strong Bodies Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapists in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. Our therapists will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of patients with a variety of functional limitations and orthopedic conditions in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our outpatient office located in Sarasota. You will work a 40-hour week with variable weekend shifts, allowing for flexibility in your schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing orthopedic issues.
• Provide expert consultations to healthcare providers regarding patients' care continuum to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans, enhancing their understanding and engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, evaluations, and progress, adhering to the highest professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, participating in case discussions and contributing to treatment protocols.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including PTA students, to encourage their professional growth and integrate them into patient care strategies.
• Engage in community outreach and team-building activities that align with our commitment to quality improvement and marketing initiatives.
• Remain updated on advancements in the field through self-study and participation in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients, ensuring that your treatment approaches are tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• State Licensure in Physical Therapy and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical personnel.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, we highly value candidates with additional certifications or advanced degrees in specialized areas of physical therapy. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly handling a diverse patient load, will be looked upon favorably.
