Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to design and implement effective treatment plans that meet their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of methods, including targeted exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced rehabilitation equipment to enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and recalibrate therapeutic goals as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about home care exercises, ergonomic principles, and the proper use of assistive devices to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
• Participate in regular training and professional development activities to maintain clinical knowledge and enhance therapeutic practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to coordinate care and improve overall treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to older adults, each with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to design personalized rehabilitation programs that are tailored to each patient's individual needs, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Current and valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHRs) and other applicable software.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy practice, particularly in rehabilitation settings.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and exercise prescription.
• Previous engagement in mentorship or training sessions for new graduates.
