Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment in accordance with individual care plans, focusing on the prevention of disability and relief of pain.
• Supervise and support physical therapy assistants in executing treatment plans effectively.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities through diagnostic tests of muscle, nerve, and joint function.
• Assess the client's home environment, making tailored recommendations to enhance their independence.
• Provide physical therapy services in alignment with physician referrals and best practices.
• Administer a range of therapeutic techniques including manual exercises, traction, and other modalities to promote healing.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, advocating collaboration with physicians for any necessary modifications.
• Maintain accurate clinical records including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to evaluate treatment strategies and holistic care for clients.
• Educate clients and families regarding therapeutic devices and the overall physical therapy regimen.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, reflective of your experience and expertise.
