Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical abilities and limitations to create individualized treatment plans that support their rehabilitation journey.
• Administer therapeutic interventions utilizing a variety of techniques including manual therapy and exercise therapy to enhance recovery.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously using electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information.
• Engage with patients, providing motivation and education on fitness and wellness strategies to promote adherence to treatment protocols.
• Foster a supportive therapeutic relationship through open communication, active listening, and responsive adjustments to treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a patient's health and well-being.
• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to adjust therapeutic approaches and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Deliver patient education workshops about injury prevention, health maintenance, and strategies to improve quality of life.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to formulate effective exercise regimens for diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for precise and efficient patient documentation.
• Strong understanding of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy, demonstrating a commitment to staying informed about new techniques and methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a home health care setting or outpatient clinics, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• A background in sports medicine or manual therapy can enhance your eligibility.
