Work Environment

Working onsite at our rehabilitation center, you will be part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy treatment to patients, ensuring you deliver care that meets individual recovery goals.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and mobility needs, leading to the development of customized treatment plans.
• Administer hands-on therapy and therapeutic exercises that engage patients and promote healing.
• Educate patients on their conditions and preventive care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Utilize the CureMD EMR system for documenting patient progress and communicating effectively with referring providers to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily be working with adults aged 40 to 65, focusing on individuals who require rehabilitation due to various physical impairments or conditions. Your expertise will help guide them through their recovery processes, ensuring they regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their physical abilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's Degree or higher is preferred.
• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for effective communication with patients and their families.
• Clinical reasoning skills will enable you to make informed decisions regarding patient care and treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• While prior outpatient experience will be considered a plus, it is not mandatory. New graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
