Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Role in Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

Performance Enhancement Physical Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Dayton, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver hands-on therapy techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility training.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress using the CureMD electronic medical records system, which ensures continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily treat adult patients aged 40 to 65, who may be dealing with various conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, sports injuries, and age-related mobility challenges. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their recovery and rehabilitation journey by providing personalized care focused on patient-specific goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
• Dedication to continuing education and professional development, ensuring the practice remains evidence-based.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with managing diverse patient conditions and a component of educational engagement with patients.
• Previous experience using electronic medical record systems, especially CureMD, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Performance Enhancement Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. This includes:
