Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation needs based on physician referrals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs that incorporate current and evidence-based practices to optimize patient recovery.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques to facilitate healing and restore functionality, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Engage in ongoing patient education, providing guidance and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercise regimens.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Strive to meet and exceed patient satisfaction goals and clinic utilization benchmarks.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance patient-centered care and maximize therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, age-related musculoskeletal issues, and other physical impairments. Our patient population may also include pediatric and neurologic cases, allowing for a diverse and enriching clinical experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is required to practice in New Jersey.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedics or related specialties.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficient computer and word processing abilities.
• Demonstrable ability to build solid relationships with patients and their families, fostering an environment of trust and motivation.
• A commitment to professional development and staying updated on new treatment methodologies and industry standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting, specifically with orthopedic patients.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in using therapy software for scheduling, documentation, and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
