Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patient histories and performing pertinent assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Clearly articulate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, integrating their input into goal-setting processes.
• Implement treatment protocols with proficiency, adapting strategies based on initial evaluation results and ongoing patient responses.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed, being vigilant to recognize changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate adjustments to care plans or consultations.
• Facilitate discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate documentation of the patient's therapeutic journey including evaluations and progress summaries.
• Manage time efficiently, adhering to productivity expectations while maintaining accuracy in schedules and patient interactions.
• Engage in departmental goal achievement initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
• Pursue professional development opportunities actively, including serving as a clinical instructor for students, fostering a culture of learning within the organization.
• Promote an outstanding customer service experience by being adaptable, responsive, and supportive in patient care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional growth through ongoing education.
• No prior work experience is necessary; however, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.

Preferred Experience
