Work Environment

This onsite position allows you to work directly with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. The center is thoughtfully equipped with the latest therapeutic technology and exercise equipment, enabling you to provide exceptional care. Our approach emphasizes teamwork, with a close-knit staff of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) who work side by side to deliver coordinated care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Design and implement personalized care plans that integrate a variety of treatment techniques.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring high-quality, focused care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation, providing cost-effective treatment options.
• Enhance patients' mobility while minimizing the necessity for pain medications and invasive surgical procedures.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by developing tailored fitness and wellness programs addressing individual patient goals.
• Document all services and interactions in compliance with best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment to maximize their recovery potential.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care and track progress.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adjust strategies as necessary for improving patient results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves patients with orthopedic conditions who are insured through private medical coverage. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of individuals, from athletes recovering from injuries to elderly patients seeking improved mobility. Your role will involve crafting treatments that not only address immediate concerns but also promote ongoing wellness and preventative health strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A clean professional record without instances of board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong understanding of manual therapy techniques and a history of effective treatment outcomes.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized exercise programs for diverse patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software platforms, such as WebPT.
• Previous experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, depending on your experience and qualifications.
